I was playing with the settings on my hu today, and the subw setting is either on or off, but when i turn it to on it makes no difference whatsoever, even after adjusting its settings from 0 to 15, still sounds the same. Why is this? Does it only work when I have a sub hooked to its sub rca outputs? I am using the soundgate adapter with my hu and infinity 7 speaker system.

 

yes it only works on the sub pre-outs

 

Heh, that sucks, they should make it clear in the owners manual that it only works with a sub hooked to its rca adapter cables, it says nothing at all about it.
