Yeah, thinking the same thing also. Under dash/seats are tight spots for them though.

Maybe at night if your windows are up, they might glow a little bit because of the neon back there, but I dunno if the glass would reflect it right.

It wouldnt, according to the law of reflection/refraction in physics, the window would have to have a bunch of "uneven" surfaces to reflect the light. The only place ull see the glowing is at the top where the glass ends, but still would be tite to try.

if you etch a design into the window, the whole etching will glow...

i was mostly expecting it to show through the speaker grill. i never thought about up through the window area though. that might be nice. i already have neon under the seats and the dash.

just make sure if you do put them in they don't interfere with the window rolling down. i'm not sure what you want to accomplish by putting them behind the door.....i'm sure its been done somewhere by someone before but it's not a very popular thing to do. definitely a different idea....try it out see how it works. good luck

you can get Blaupunkt transparent blue speakers, and put a light behind them.. I did that in my old car, and it looked nice, until half of the speaker lights burned out and I was too lazy to replace them.. then it looked like a ghetto x-mas tree.

even ifyou have transparent speakers, how is the light going to get through the dense speaker grill? it would be very dim. plus there might not be a whole lot of clearance behind the speakers to let the window roll down.

I was thinking of etching the mitsu emblem into my window and throwing some neons' LED's in the door panel myself

I threw some red neon under the dash on each side..... the glow matches the guages.. I'm all about the subtle touches. The window idea is kinda cool.. not sure if id want to etch mine though... or even if it's legal...
