Need info on what amp i need for this setup

Im running 2 of these Volfenhag's
http://www.carstereoexpo.com/zxdvxvol10ca.html

Can anyone tell me what amp i should run that is somewhat affordable but will push well with decent to good quality?

I was considering http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=18796

For reference, i have an older kenwood 600w amp, and it HARDLY pushes these subs... Although im not sure if the amp is putting out true wattage anyway. This of course doesnt suprise me... im told these particular subs need a lot of wattage.
Any input would be appreciated
Thanks

Looks to me like that amp would be perfect for those woofers
The Kenwood is probably only pushing 150w-200w to each speaker, very under powered for those woofers

I think you're probably right, the kenwood is just an amp i had lying around, and it is quite old. Does anyone else have any input on the quality of volfenhag amp/subs? I heard these subs at the shop i purchased them from, and with some good power behind them they sounded real nice in my opinion...

theres no wattage specs on that page for the subs so how can you tell. but i never heard anything good ro bad about them. you should fine a class-d amp. just match the RMS of one sub to the RMS of the amp and hook them in paralell

make sure you hook them up correctly because they have 3 different ohm operations according to that site. get them in a 4 ohm configuration (meaning each sub needs to be wired to work in 8 ohms, then wire them in parallel). this will produce the best responce. it says 800 watts for the speakers but this is probably peak. if you get a monoblock amp that can put out between 800-1000 watts it will push those 2 speakers quite well. giving them more power shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't turn it up to full volume for long periods of time. in fact NEVER turn anything up to full volume. max listening level should be about 3/4 volume for any stereo. tune the amp (gain settings) in this fashion.
