Not to much bass
Not to much bass
So I was thinking about putting a system in, but I dunno. My old setup pushed to much juice for me, (audiobahn alum10q woofer 800rms and a8002t amp). Ive been out of the car audio market for awhile now, so anyone got any ideas for some low wattage setups that sound nice?
I was thinkin about going with http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-BAZOOKA-BT10...QQcmdZViewItem
Something like that, ive heard some good things about bazooka and I wanna keep my trunk looking nice and clean. Not some 30 pound monster mdf box sitting in my trunk.
Edit: O yea my headunit is a pioneer 6800mp.

if you want good sounding bass but not so much shaking, personally id go with a MTX 35-5500 series, its good bass but not so much it shakes everything, but it really depends on the amp. i dont recommend the bass tube, i havent heard anything good about it. just get a 10' sub and a small 300w mono amp to it... sealed box, if you want little bass get a ported box it reduces the bass alot. you can get a mtx 5500 in a sealed box for like $80, thats the route id go

I spent a day in a 67 mustang, doing custom kick panels for 6.5" speakers, cut the rear deck for 6X9's, cut the dash to install a stereo run new wiring and hook up that tube in the trunk.
The customer (She) listens to rock and classic stuff, and sounded great. The bass was enough to shake the rear view out of position. Also threw it some rap to see what the sound was like and it was superb.
If you get a tube, space reasons, no external amp needed, go with the 8100!
