Quality Remote Starter/Alarm System

I'm in the market for a quality remote starter and alarm kit for my car with electronic unlock and trunk release. I've looked at the vipers and galaxys and both seem to have what i want and just wanted to get some opinions before i buy. price range is $50-200ish. Thanks!

Not much quality for that price. If you have a manual than you want to consider the compustar. Great range two way alarm and the only manufacturer that I know that offers remote start for manual tranny's. Clifford use to make but it's discontinued. Clifford, Viper are made by DEI so same stuff.

I'm more specifically looking at the scytek 5100RS it looks pretty good for $170ish

Anything by DEI is a good choice. I have the "hornet" model. Pretty much the same as the viper...differnt models have different options basically. (Viper, Hornet, Python, Valet, etc)

Oh and by the way, all work for manual trans, you just need to take off the sensor on the clutch that allows you to start the car w/ out depressing pedal. Its just a saftey feature. JUST MAKE SURE YOU DONT PARK IN GEAR!

^^he is correct in saying that CLifford, Viper, Hornet ect...are the exact same thing...^^

but here is a tip...u can get the Viper 791XV (top of the line model) on ebay for just a little over 200 bux...yes that is a GREAT deal...BUT...this security system is far from perfect...ever year or do, something is BOUND to go wrong with it...atleast in my case...so I suggest that you buy the security system u r looking for from BEST BUY or CIRCUIT CITY..u will be paying 700 instead of 200 yes...but when u have ur whole security system replaced every year, FOR FREE, it more than payes for itself...

but that is just my .02

I run the Viper 791 XV In my eyes it's the Best alarm/Auto Starter on the market for $500. I love it when people bump my car and my remote tells me so i run outside and confront them about it. You should see the people's faces when i start to get loud with them because in the back of there minds they have no idea how i knew they just bumped my car. I'm a big guy also at 6'7'' 230lb i watched some guy jump back into his car a drive off like a mad man he was so scared.
