Thumbs up S2000 Antenna

Yesterday I went to Weir Canyon Honda dealer to buy an S2000 antenna to replace my stock Antenna that's obviously had too much viagra . I paid $21.50 which is pretty steep but... DAMN its worth it. It looks so nice on my Silver Lancer and also, the signal is MUCH better. I dont know why everyone was complaining that the signal is worse with it. So to sum it all up... S2000 Antenna is a cheap (maybe not), and a nice upgrade to do. I highly recommend it

1st thing i did to my evo.. I'd do it even if the shorter antenna made my reception worse, but it actually made it better..

cost me a whopping $23.00

Highly reccomend to anyone.

1st question: why are you worried about reception? who the hell is listening to the radio anyways? join the digital age people! the only time the radio is on in my car is when my mom is riding with me and she doesn't want to listen to the "****" i listen to so i put on the radio for background music.

2nd question: i don't really have a second question.

LoL Cup,

Maybe some of us dont have MP3 head units, I still have my stock stereo because I cant afford to get a new system yet. I am still paying off my car, my insurance, gas and maintenance as well as saving for college. Thats why i dont have any REAL mods on my car yet.

Argh... I HATE Hon-duh. They were so snobbish when I pulled up in my Lancer. They started dissing my Lancer saying "You know you coulda gotten a Honda Civic with 160 HP which is 60 more than that car you are driving there." I damn near slapped the fool cuz he was being such an @$$... I told him "Sir, with all due to respect... please shut the hell up and let me go to the parts department before I get pissed and start wreaking havoc." He looked @ me all weird like I scared the **** out of him and I walked in. The parts guy asked me what I needed and I told him I needed an S2000 antenna. He asked me all sorts of **** like License plate number, VIN number, model, year and stuff. I BSed everything except for model and year so i can get the right antenna. They are SOOOO dumb, lol. As I went out the sales guy who confronted me before was like completely trying to avoid me. I hate Hon-duh dealers.

EDIT: Yes, install is screw off old antenna and screw on the new one. Very simple.

if it makes you feel better, when i took my evo over to get the antenna, It cleared the showroom, all the staff went outside to look at it, and i think a couple of customers. next time i see an s2000 owner i'll tell them they coulda had en evo w/ 71 more hp, just for you.

When I went in to get mine one of the salesman asked if he could help. I said "Ya, point me to parts" he pointed and away I went. The parts guy was cool, just needed the year and model. They didn't cut me a break on price but hey, for $25 it was well worth it. I walked back out to my OZ and unscrewed the old one, threw it in the back seat and screwed the new one on. It looks GREAT!!!!! Fired up the car and zoomed out of the parking lot.

i love my mp3 headunit. i dunno about 200 songs, i can fit about 100 or so, what bitrate are you running? mine are all at least 128, mostly 192kbps.

and anyways, before i even got the new headunit i would only listen to cds anyways. mostly i'd keep the same cd in the player for 2 weeks or so til i got so ****ing tired of it i'd have to change it. anything is better than the radio.
