Hey guys I'm pretty new at this Mod stuff I'm just gettin started with tints. Now I'm looking at the s2000 antenna. So you guys are saying that all I gotta do it order online from honda accessories and then unscrew my antenna and screw the s2000 on? Its that simple? or is there any parts i need for the threading? Thanks for the help!

 

first off welcome. you do not have to order the antenna just go to the dealers and buy one. its cheaper cuz u dont have to pay shipping. its very very easy to install and the only parts u need are ur hands and the antenna. its a simple screw off screw on job. heres a pix of mine

 

I just got mine and put it on....is it just me or is it now a perfect fit I mean the antenna is doesn't go all the way in cuz it's too big. Hope i'm not alone on this...cuz when I look at it, there's this gap. It's screwed all the way in but don't go all the way in. Let me know guys

 

yes the install is that easy..screw off screw on..no tools just your hands. the base of the antenna is slightly larger in diameter but mine screws all the way in it's just a tiny bit bigger but you can't tell till you get up close.

awwe..i miss my s2k antenna. i sold it to my friend with a new Z. so now i ride around with a Z antenna.

 

I noticed that gap also. I had an extra black rubber O-ring from a kitchen faucet in the garage. It fit perfect and filled in the gap.

 

i dont think i have a gap actually it dose look slightly off if you get up close but if the screw is to long you can always just cut the screw down a bit with a screw cutter on a set of crimpers

 

Could someone post a picture of their whole car with the antenna? I'm still debating if it's worth the money to put on my car. Thanks
