Infinity Speakers

I realize speakers come in all shapes and sizes....and I'm probably going to sound like a girl picking a sports team here ( ) but I want my speakers to be white.

Can anybody give me first hand experience with Infinity's?

4 6 1/2" Infinity Kappa speakers all around. No matter what anyone tells you these will NOT fit out 6 3/4" mounts without custom mounting. See picture for my sloppy (but effective) door install. I would have returned them when they didn't fit, but they sounded so damn good I decided to keep them.
From my registry entry. They're a little small for the stock cutouts despite their being oversized 6 1/2"s. My mounts are a bit ghetto, but they work (and I'll replace them when I have the time and inclination). I ended up just drilling the rear deck rather than putting mounts back there too. They sound great, but they were less than perfect as far as install despite Crutchfield's help (at the time I bought them they had no master sheet for the Lancer either).

Infinity's are superb for interior speakers. Jeep cherokee's offer them as upgrade and they crisp deep speakers and are well worth the money.

so infinity doesn't make a 6 3/4"? that's kinda what i saw when i was looking around....just wanted to confirm. i wish i could do something with the door panel grill to show the speakers off. i guess it's possible...........

i was looking at circuit city and they had a deal on subs. all they listed was a part number and i don't remember what it was so i couldn't look them up. audio is the last on my upgrade list since i already have subs. i was just wondering for future reference.

I have infinity kappa 6.5s in my rears. They are FANTASTIC speakers. Coupled with a good HU (I use a clarion dxz735m) they give incredibly crisp highs, and very powerful lows. i definately reccomend them. Also, as far as mounting goes, of the 2 packages of them i've had, one set came with a 6.5/6.3/4 mounting brackets. Dont know if it was a fluke or not but the brackets got them in there very well. I highly reccomend the Kappas.
