subwoofer box sliding

hey i have 2 sony xplod's in my trunk, theyre 10s and the box seems to slide around in my trunk, idk how but i dont take any crazy turns or anything. does anyone have an idea on how to secure the box without actually bolting it down to your trunk mat? ive tried wedging weights and bags in the 5 in gap on the left and 8 inch gap on the right. still fresh out of ideas. anyone have suggestions?

tons and tons of velcro should do the trick. Or maybe build support beams for the box to stop it from sliding

I used to have this problem, it annoyed me so much that i just ended up screwing it down with L brackets because it would slide around everywhere and now its perfect.

try a rubber bungie around the box and then attach it to the back of the seat or rear deck.

I'm using velcro and it doesn't budge. Picked some up at Walmart for cheap.

Screw it IN.

Any smart stereo installer would mount (screw in) any sub box installed.
With a power drill, it takes about 3-5 min. to take out for track days.

Velcro may cause the entire floor the slide

use L brackets if you want it done right the first time
