Need Trunk Ideas
2 10s or maybe 12s would look nice glassed in to the sides of our trunks near the taillights. place the fuses and distroblock and any other accessories on the trunk lid under a piece of plexi, with the amps under a false floor with a plexi window. Light them with strategiclly placed LEDs and maybe a light bar tucked up on the trunk ceiling to set it all off.
Thats what I'd like to do if I ever get a week of nothing to do and happen to have a a bunch of glassing supplies around..

check out mine on my car domain page 2. it is nothing too big. I wanted to fiberglass my trunk but still wanted to have some trunk room and throw stuff in it, so i came down to that.

HOLY SH*T!! ^^ I swear thats the exact same design i was going to go with in my trunk!! WTF!! Except for the sub orientation in vs. out. I bet you used red cuz the JL boxes use red right? Crazy coincidence!

This is what my setup used to look like. Clean and simple, yet show-quality. I recently had it redone though. The false floor in that pic was black vinyl, now it's all carbon fiber. I also got new subs and amps and some more neon accents. The amps are angled up instead of laying flat. Lancer trunks are pretty big and you can come up with some nice setups. Good luck with whatever your design is.
I think a great setup would be to build a custom fiberglass box, wrap it around the rear of the trunk (by the tail lights), put a sub in each corner (aimed at an angle, up and towards the middle of the rear seat), then put the amp rack in the middle by the trunk latch.

^ only problems with putting corner enclosuers is that the airspace you end up with is very little. Definetly not enough for something like a JL W7 just gotta find a sub that doesn't require much airspace...I had a similar setup before...the two subs in the corner enclosures. It looked pretty clean. Lemme see if i can find a pic.
