Question New Sound system for US OZ

Let me know what you think. I have upgraded from the factory system, and have put in place a Sony deck and Pioneer 6.5's in the front and 6x9's in the rear. Not looking to blow my eardrums out, just better sound quality. Tell me if they suck or not basically

CDX-MP40,Pioneer TS-A1680R & TS-A6970R

Thanks,

Good point on the 6.75, I have the receipt. Are you telling me 6x9's will not fit in the rear, and the fronts are 6.75 as well?

Anything'll fit if you cut enough.

In case you were wondering who voted "Poor" it was me due to the 6x9's and the fact that I HAAAATE Sony HU's. (overrated and overpriced imo)

So cutting the area for the speakers will not effect the sound? What's wrong with the four way Pioneer's??

Thanks for the help!!

Dude, here's my 2 cents:

1. Return the Sony HU (they aren't that great) and get a new Pioneer.

2. Return the 6X9s and go with 6 3/4 Pioneer all the way around.

That's what I have, and it sounds GREAT. And the Pioneer's fit without ANY modification. If you want, I can post where I got my stuff online cheap, and you might even save some money and/or take a step up in quality.

Yeah that would be great if you could forward where you got your stuff. I checked the Pioneer website and all they had were 6x8?

Thanks

Quick question while I dig up the links... How much are you looking to pay per pair of speakers? And you can check out my car info to see what I have now.

Ok. First thing I'd do is find the model number of the speakers and head unit you like, and search for it at:
www.pricegrabber.com
It will find the lowest price from lots of places, including shipping, and its usually a great deal. Other than that:
www.etronics.com
www.mmxpress.com
www.thezeb.com
www.full-line-audio.com

I have made purchases with etronics and mmxpress. Both are great companies.
