Custom Fiberglass Progress Thread: check it out

aight guys, so this is my first solo fiberglass job, ive watched a few people do quite complex work as well as partake in a few fiberglassing adventures myself, but this is by far the most challenging project i have included myself in ever. it will be a fully glassed trunk, so when u pop it, all u see is painted glass and equipment, im not going into detial, but i will say this, it will incouperate 2 AA Avas and an Orion 2500D...make sure u check back often to see the progress of it...here are a few teaser pics

support board

amp rack

logo layout...

supports for logo...

even tho this is a very complicated set up...i think everything is going very smoothly..let me hear ur input...

so far so good. why only dynamat on the trunk lid? should have it on the floor of the trunk and the sides.. best results. goodluck with it!

Try looking into the spray dynamat or if you done feel like spending the extra money you can use expanding foam, Just be VERY CAREFULL with it. It does E-X-P-A-N-D you know.

Props for the creativeness. Always nice to see everyones own personal style come out in their cars.

Sharkbite who did your work? I know most of the high end Zapco dealers in th US. You guys need to find ultrs light MDF. Its less than half the weight f MDF. Zapcolancer's trunk weighed very little. the equipment o the other hand..... ]

the slits on each side are for the vertical pieces to clear the amp rack...
