I agree.....if you blow a shock or get hit in the back (knock on wood) your never gonna be able to get the the shocks. I would have just thrown a crap load of dynamat back there. I am eagerly awaiting the completion of this. so far I like it tho!
yes, i no all the risks i am taking...but to be a custom show car, risks must be taken! and teh great stuff can be sanded/cut/burned through VERY eisaly...so if i absolutly had to change my shocks out i cud cut rite through it

the last of the wood got glued togather and is going to be getting put in in less than an hour...



the cut is angleled to not get in the way of the amp rack once the boxes are fleeced...

STAGE 1 IS COMPLETE!!!! FINALLY!!!!
stage 1 includes: all teh wood work
i have all the wood work doen except for my rings...so on to the pics


the rest will be fleeced adn glassed

this is how much clereance i have on each side to mount a 15" ring...phew!

Damn, this looks like it will turn out pretty nice. Sucks that you're going on vacation, now I won't be able to see any more progress for a while
