^^drill small holes through the fiberglass and seal it up with silocone^^

It is great to watch your progress, but I guess I don't understand why you wouldnt have wanted to make it removeable. Not only would it make part of the work easier, but also if you need to get to anything you dont need to destroy anything.

i had the ring custom made by a shot, since i did not have a router, and it wost me around 400 in materials...but that is the 150 in expandable foam...so ya

UPDATE! okay guys, so i no, ive been a little slow, but here goes, this is what i have at 12:30 AM my time...3 layers of glass on teh left side and 2 layers on the right, i will eb doing teh final layer on teh right side tommarow



shot of all ym hard work from teh past week





and just to make sure its strong enough

BIG UPDATE!!!

so first of all today (which started at 7am btw ) i got teh 3rd and final layer of my 2 oz chop mat on...sturdy as hell...



second of all, to make sure my bondo was not damaged by teh rain last nite, i did a quick crappy layer of bondo on teh left side...



and for teh remainder of the 4 hours, i fleeced teh middle portion, PITA!
