When I did mine, I unscrewed the positive wire of the battery, then I unscrewed the thing where the wire is going into and I place my amp power wire in there. Screw everything back together and you're in business.

I'll go have a look at my car right now just to be sure I'm talking sh***

Edit: I just went and looked at it. I can't see anything on where my wire is hooked up. I know it goin under the big black plastic thing (2 wires are connected on that). I don't really feel like unplugging it right now. But if I remember right, what I wrote before is the way I did it.

buy terminal ends, either ring or spade. crimp it onto the end of the wire, then this goes under the nut on the screw. bolt it down. pretty standard. make sure you get all the strands of copper into the terminal end to make best contact. bolt it down nice and tight.
