I would like to know everybody's opinions. It's the 2-way alarm by Crime Stopper.

I hate crimestopper. I like Dei products. Clifford, Viper, Python, blah blah blah. Can't go wrong with Dei. The 2-way remotes are fragile though. But I have had a 99 % success rate fixing them.

 

Why do you hate them? Because the way they peform, look, etc?

I'm wondering if it does the job.

Crimestopper, for the most part, is a cheaper brand targetting the lower end of the market. If you really want a nice 2-way alarm go with a viper. They are getting to the point where they have 1 mile systems that can do remote start and alarm. If you don't want the remote start portion, don't hook it up. I tested the 1 mile claim... and it works. Can't go wrong, plus the lifetime warranty.

 

^ agreed, if you want a 2-way, get one that works, and works well, otherwise your alarm is only as good as the people around when it goes off

 

I understand if you don't want to answer this, but what does the warranty cover?
