Can anyone tell me or direct me to a guide on how to remove the dashboard on my 2008 lancer? I want to look at the back of my stock radio and figure if I can run some kind of aux line to my mp3 player. I really don't want to start unscrewing and pulling things apart blindly...

There is an AUX line. Its not an RCA however, its a pin type. Somebody already did it. Its a $50 cable from Mitsu.
Press and hold your CD button, its how AUX in the display.

Go look in the 08's how to section under Ipod cable ( someone correct me)

Dashboard removal- no clue. Guy who did it had the dealership install.

 

Hes right about the cable, its $54 from mitsu and its a pin-type that hooks into the back of the unit. Thing is, the other end is the same miniplug type that hooks into your headphone jack of the iPod. I just said screw it and went to radioshack and bought an RCA/Mini cable for $4 and used the front AUX jack. Mitsu says there is no iPod cable for the new Lancer

The $50 dollar cable is for those who dont have the Front aux in yet. If you have the front ones, get RCA jacks from Radio Shack.
