Dynamat on back of plate works good, Another option (old school installer trick) use 3m spray adhesive and glue a piece of thin grey carpet ( like carpet used on many pre. fab. enclosures ) on back side of plate.
"back side" I guess you know not to put it on the front. LOL

Hey bud... don't get me wrong but there is an audio section on this forum, and you know what? I posted the same thing last week. So before someone else tells you, there is one hell of a nice feature in here it's called Search button...

Since I'm a good guy, here's the link to the tread I made last week.

If u want to be cheap and ghetto u can use a napkin/papertowel/etc. and fold it a couple times and place part behind license, and then in front of license and in between license cover...works well....I like the double sided stick tape without the carpet as well

While you're at it, please stop putting long strings of periods at the ends of your thread titles. Moving to Audio & Security.

Hell... that's like 2 periods for every post he's made! (no... I didn't count, it's just an estimate)

For your solution, check the thread Blaze made reference to.

I don't have the problem in my lancer as I got a frame for my plate. In my last car I pulled a Mgyver (sp?) and cut up a mouse pad so it was just smaller than my plate and screwed it in behind.

Sneaky sneaky.
