Need some help- What is the Data Link Connector?

Hey guys, I just got my Keyless Pad and I am about to program it, I was at the step where it says

3. Connect the scan tool to the data link connector. If the scan
tool is not used, ground terminal (1) of the data link
connector.

I obviously don't have the scan tool and I was looking under the steering wheel but nothing struck me as "Hey thats the Data Link Connector", I know I may be pushing it but does any1 have a picture or some helpful words into finding this connector that I need to ground?

Ok I already figured it out, just that it didnt register, let me clarify one thing, when it says to Press the transmitter switch, and press it two times with 10 seconds after the first press that means the Lock button on the Keyless Pad right? Because I did that and it didn't register.
