Usually they are pretty low quality. Could probably spend a little bit more and get something much better.

I had one YEARS ago in my 66 mustang....it rocked at the time(I was 16). I agree with SEEnoEVO....you can get something better.

I had one, It all depends what you want it for. I mean you can get a box or something else and forget the tube, there ok I guess, If your getting a good deal on one I'd say do it, but you can probably shop around for a better sub and then buy a box for it.

well i just installed a BTA10200 n it has a good amount of kick so im pretty happy

What amp do you have? What car do you have? Why did you choose a tube over
a box?

in al reality unless your installingit into a truck or suv since its an open trunk/cab the bass will be low and of bad quality

i have an 08 lancer gts and the sub is pre amped n the sound quality is actually pretty good and i chose a tube because i wasnt looking to kill all the space in my trunk and i didnt want a huge system i just wanted a little punch i dont need every one around me listening to my music and i didnt want a system that was gona rattle my car because thats just tacky i think it hits pretty good regardless of what people say

alot of bass is coming from the stock speakers as well
now if u were to go and put al bass blocked coaxials like me then youd wouldnt hear anything out of that tube
