Yeah I know, and all opinions are welcome but a beginner that knows almost nothing of car audio is not going to look into a old school amp.

Which amps do you like now, or which would you recommend?

 

I'm a huge fan of memphis, if u can find an amp from memphis that fits your speakers i would highly recommend that.

i used to use the alpine mrp-m850..pushes 500w rms at 4 ohms, 800w at 2 ohms..not a bad amp and if u can find one at an audio store, it can prolly be had for pretty cheap cuz its an old model

idk im not gunna search right now, but i like memphis, JL is good but can be pricy, kicker subs are decent for the price but i'm not rly sure how the amps are..um..infinity, mtx, all reputable names..

But on top of that..i'm by no means an audio expert or anything, im a full time student who works full time as a cook..i own a jeep wrangler that doesnt have any kinda of audio system in it..so i haven't rly kept my eyes open for things, and i dont have much time or money for systems right now. So i still stick to my previous recommendation and say to consult an audio specialty store..and if you HAVE to go to Best buy, circuit city, etc..try and talk to an installer
