Component Speakers
I Was wondeing if the A pillars just come off, if you just need to pop em off to put the tweeter in em
second, this one is for cup, about how big of a diameter hole is needed for the tweets, im gettin mb also, so they should be the same size
and last, im amping the speakers obviously, so do i need to turn the crossover off, or set it to high mid or low?

a pillars just pop off. held in by clips, be gentle but firm.
tweeter...pfft i have no idea. there's a template which i tried to follow, i ended up cutting it with a knife and trying it til it fit.
which crossover are you talking about?

If you're amping component speakers, you should probably set the XO on the amp to "High Pass" Then adjust it to somewhere around or slightly above 80Hz. Right about there is where the components should take over for the subs. (If you're running subs) If you're not running subs, leave the crossover on the amp off.

Not all Quarts have same size tweeter. For instane, my front PCE216s have 1" tweeter, while rear RCE216s have .75" tweeter. Factory tweeter is .75", but 1" fits no problem. THe only tweeter I have come across that won't easily fit is the Pioneer PRS with the integral aluminum flange.

Not sure what you mean about hole. For instance, I have Quart PCE216 mounted up front, and the 1" tweeter can mount several ways to the factory bracket. Unscrew the factory tweeter, and just use the same screw on the tweeter since thread is the same. If you are trying to reorient, the Quart angled mount will also attach to factory bracket and give you some adjustablility.

we don't have factory tweeters on our OZ's...
Quarts tend to do better in the A-pillars than in the door, but there is room in that cap over the mirror area.
