09 Lancer Head Unit Question

I just recently purchased a 2009 Lancer GTS without the GPS Nav system. My thoughts on this were that I could purchase an aftermarket GPS/DVD unit for cheaper than the one that comes from the factory. After thinking about it I have a few questions:

1. Are there mounting kits for the 09 yet that would even fit a Double-DIN?
2. If I were to install an after market unit, would I still get the functionality of the steering wheel controls and the steering wheel blue-tooth?
3. (Not as important) Could I transfer my free subscription of Sirius to the new unit?

If anyone has installed a Double-DIN unit in an 08 or 09 Lancer could you post pictures?

-Jester

*UPDATE* - I found the answer to my question. I guess since it is new that parts to do this would not be out for a few months.

1. metra has released a kit, thats double din OR single din......

you will also need the wiring harness while you are at it....

2. a few companies make steering wheel interfaces that let you keep the steering wheel controls with an aftermarket HU. depending on the brand HU you buy, there are different choices. PAC and peripheral are the only ones I can think of right now, but there should me some more.

3. if the new unit supports Sirius, and you have it all set up and ready to go (i.e. you have any tuners needed, controller, etc.) then yes you can transfer just fine, using the dealer assigned Sirius subscription code when you call Sirius to activate it.

hope this helps!

Thanks. I was looking to put in the Pioneer AVIC-F900BT or the Kenwood DNX5120 and I saw a post on here somewhere of a guy who did it with the same kit.

The steering wheel controls and the bluetooth were what I was really wondering about. Thanks for the info.
