my system so far...
hmmm well... those are nice. how are the kickers?? I am debating on redoing my system. I got 2 12" fosgate he2s. well 1 now i blew one. lol.. it sucks.. I am thinking on maybe just getting to 10"s. so it will be a little bit less weight, and getting these guys to do a custom boxing for my trunk and going with hx2's and hopefully running 600-800 watts into each sub. with a 500 watt going to the speakers. itself.

THESE KICKERS ARE AMAZING
I PAYED 175 for 2 and they compare to the 10W3's from JL AUDIO.
YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH CompVR's
They are competition speakers, a local sound shop by me uses them all the time, and they win all the time.
The box range for these is a 0.8 to 3.0 cuft. You have so many options with these AND they are DVC Subs.

How??
This is a dumb question but I recently bought some audio equipment to put in my Lancer and uhh...I have no idea how to install them. Is there a website on how to install the Amps, Subs & speakers?? Any info would be helpful. Thanks
if uve never done it before....have someone that knows how teach u...the way i learned was by watching my install guy do it.....its simple once u learn....
if u dont have a clue...pay the 100 bux for the install.

nice, here's what I have so far...
Looks like you got a good start... Here's what I've got done so far on my system... I built the box and mounted the amp myself (with the help of the wife...). We got it done in a single day, so not to bad... the nice thing about having the amp mounted on the trunk lid, I'm not worried about it getting damaged and plenty of air flow around it... The amp is a soundstorm and the speakers are audiobahn 10's... there is more in the works but I have put the sounds on hold while I start on the performence of the car...
I've read it's bad to mount amps upside down because they have a tendency to heat up mounted like that , and that the best way to mount is side mount. Just a warning if you start to notice it running hot. If you don't notice problems, don't worry bout it.
Thanks...
thanks for the advice... I use to work along the side of a local stereo store called Mr. Tunes... I did a lot of there bigger jobs... now, this was 9yrs ago (before fiberglass was even thought of). And we never had problem with amps being mounted upside down as long as they had pleny of air flow to keep them cool... But amps have changed alot in the last couple of years and they tend to run hotter now then they did in the past... So I'll keep my eyes on it...
