installed my amp and subs yesterday

i installed my deck(deh7400mp) a few weeks ago and ive been dreading putting in the rcas(monstercables) and power wires(4 gauge) as i live in an apartment complex and have to do it in direct sunlight and the temp is in the triple digits. but did and man am i so happy. i put in 2 kicker comp 12's and an xtant a6001(600x1)
MY TRUNK DOES NOT RATTLE!!!
this really suprised me. when i got the car i took one look at the inside of the trunk and thought it was gonna sound like crap. but on a crappy note my kickers are not holding up to the amp. i have the amps gains turned up about a quarter of the way up and i never turn u my music to the point of distortion

If he's got them facing into the cabin, in a box that almost fills the space between the seats, he'd have very little rattle problem. Lance, your sub fires right at the trunk lid, hence, it's gonna rattle like a bizooch.

The end.

i have been playing around with my box and i turned it to face the trunk and i expected the bass response was killer and the trunk rattle was minimal but after a few trip pounding the music for awhile the rattles are starting to get worse. and to top it off my kickers are starting to give they have a slight popping to them. oh well, they did their job considering they were only 80 bucks from ebay. im either gonna get some L7s or some elemental design O series, anyway its time to dynamat
