Has anyone been able to install an aftermarket double din head unit while keeping the stock Rockford package connected?

I don't really feel like wiring my car for another amp and sub when there is already one in there.

Also, has a steering wheel harness been released yet for out specific models?

 

There are allot of posts about this topic, but to answer your question no I don't think anyone has done it yet. The $150 module that makes the stock amp work with a aftermarket head unit is still not out yet. I am waiting for my new head unit from crutchfield and will attempt to use parts of the factory head unit to make the amp work. I will post my results either way.
