I was wondering if anyone has installed a remote start/alarm on their 08 GTS Automatic. (also NO fast key). I really want to get one installed but not 100% sure what works with our cars. Let me know.

 

just take it to your local tint and alarm shop should be an easy install. i got a 2 way alarm installed (no remote start) on my 09 gts (i have fast key) they were able to prgm all the sensors and even the trunk button on my 2 way pager.

 

anyone have remote on the fast key yet?

 

I think I remember seeing somewhere, someone Jerry-rigged one with the transmitter hidden in the car so it would think the key was in range, but I don't remember where.

It would be nice if a company came out with a key fob that allowed you to take it to the dealer and have it programmed for your cars transmitter frequency or however it works.

I wish there was one out now because I'd buy it. It's starting to get cold in my area and I love the remote start I have on my Jeep for the winters.

 

thanks for the info guys but I'm really trying to see if anyone has already had the remote start+alarm put on there car? Any specific models would be nice and if there are any problems with putting a system on...thanks
