Buzz when headlights are on?!!?

Hey all, I had an issue previously (on my previous deck) where there was a high pitch noise which was consistent and only got louder when the AC was on. With my new deck, Its all gravy, but when I turn on my headlights, a very loud Buzz comes out as if one of the speakers was grounded, or if you touched an RCA cable to something rather than an output.

I wanted to get some advice on where to reground the head unit. I have already removed the power from the amp and disconnected the RCA cables to ensure the noise was not due to the AMP. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks EvoM pplz!

I grounded mine to a bolt inside the console behind the deck. Just make sure it its wrapped around the bolt tight and screwed in. So far haven't had any problems. Went through a lot of decks as to i was newbie to doing audio installations and so were the others around me lol. I have learned a lot.

Just use the stock ground wire, it works fine for me.

since its only when your headlights are on, its probably something to do with your dimmer wire. try disconnecting your dimmer wire or illumination wire and then see if the buzz is still there.
