honestly, i like them both. they both sound great, and are good quality brands. between the two, you might want to look at spl and the types of music you listen to. i lean a bit more toward the pioneer for their clarity from multiple tweeters.

 

fyi, the pioneer drops right in, the infinity needs adaptor plates.

 

why do the inifinity's need adapters? is it hole placement or size? just wondering because i've seen 625.5i 6-3/4"s as well as 6-1/2.
