Hello,

i'm trying to install an aftermarket HU in a 2008 Lancer. I've purchased the metra harness #70-7005. The problem that i'm having is that i cannot locate a +12v Switched (ACC) wire in the factory harness. The location of the wire in the metra harness does not line up with a pin on the harness in the car.

has anyone run into this sort of thing before? does anyone know what color the acc wire is on the harness in the car?

 

do you have the Rockford system??? I don't know if it matters but I know the Rockford system does not have a ACC wire. It's turned on via the CAN bus system....hope this helps

ya there isn't one. you'll have to hook it up to a spot in the fuse panel that will turn on when the car is in ACC mode, like the cig light fuse

 

well if you bought the correct wiring harness, everything will be fine. wire it up like normal. I did and it works fine.
