I have some Infinity 2ways and a set of Infinity Components, both 6.5" speakers and I can't get the damn things to fit. They are too small. Whats up with that?? What speakers will fit in the Lancer??

 

Go to www.crutchfield.com and buy a set of adapters. Lancers have an "oversized 6 1/2", its actually closer to 6 3/4. Or you could always cut a thin piece of wood. Just search, this has been covered quite a few times.

 

6 3/4 is the size that fit.
What i did to get a perfect fit by not spending extra money
was using my factory speakers as mounts.
Cut the plastic spider holding the magnet out. You will be left with a ring with factory mounting point. Just screw your new speakers into the mount.
I know they use the same mount as the 1st gen Eclipes
So you can go to allmost any junk yard and more then likey find a Older 1991-1998 Talon,GST,GSX,GS. more then likely one of them with has a set of after market speakers. And im sure you can get the mounts off of them for less then a tank of gas
