Does any one have any info in regards to replacing the front door speakers, more specifically somewhere that will sell an adapter ring that will allow an aftermarket speaker install? I ordered from crutchfield and the adapter rings they sent are pretty much useless. They assured they'd fit but they don't fit the 6.5" infinity speakers I have.

 

I just put 6.5" speakers on all 4 doors. I got the brackets from crutchfield too. They fit the speakers but none of the holes lined up. I just used self tapping screws into the door. The stock speakers don't use screws so I can put those back if needed. But why?

 

I ended up modifying the ring to allow the speaker screws to bypass the plastic and just go straight to the metal.
