Thumbs up Just installed my Alpine front door speakers (with pics)

yea, i just bought a pair of alpine Type S speakers for my front doors and kinda guessed how to install them and pulled it off quite well. they sound real nice.

pull the rubber mold from the door bottom

disconnect the wiring harness from the power window console

pry open the small corner panel and unscrew the screw inside to take out the the plastic piece

pop open the small plastic piece within the door handle then unscrew the screw inside and pull out the handle

pry the door panel from the snaps/latches around the sides and bottom

pull up on the door panel so it slides out from the window area

unhook the wiring harness from the stock speaker then unscrew the 4 corner screws and it will come right out

mount the new speaker bracket in the original holes where the old speaker was mounted

connect the new speaker wires to the existing speaker wires, or if you wanna be really complicated connect it back where the head unit is... note: i am still using the original H/U

hook up the other end of the speaker wire to the speaker itself and mount the speaker to the bracket in the 4 provided screw holes... Note: all wiring done was completed thanks to the wiring diagram provided on evolutionm.net's main page
