i think that is stupid, 
what if you have to change parts, or fill the oil, but if you have it some where else, if your in an accident, you can at least take it with you....i think thats the dumbest thing ever...plus, the extra heat on the engine, but hey, whatever floats your boat....

judging by the shape and angle of the front end i'd say it was an nsx. a dirty one at that. when i saw the title to this thread i was hoping someone put a tv in there engine bay so i could have a good laugh.

I thought tv right away too.... It is all around nasty.. only good thing less power and ground wire but that is quickly cancelled by nasty look and use of more speaker wire??????? some people do dumb things!!!!!
