System Makeover
System Makeover
well i cant post in interior so hear you go
I said goodbye to Rockford soundsbadgate and went JL Audio Crazy
lets begin:
doors:
JL XR650 Components for the front\
JL XR650 Coaxials for the rear
TMA (JL's Brand) 320.4 4 Channel Amp
Trunk:
1 Sealed W7 12 inch :ymdevil:
1 JL Audio 500/1 Mono Amp %-(
The Veins of the operation:
0 Gauge Wiring To the 2 1.5 Farad Tsunami caps and O gauge to the cap ground.
Ground is hidden under rear seat for clean install ^
^
Then 4 gauge from positive cap input to Power splitter that splits 1 wire into two seperate 250 amp fuses to seperate outputs.
Each amp has its own ground
The "Cleanliness":
As pictures will show i did the cleanest possible job (especially with 0 gauge mammoth wiring)
I spent 8 hours rewiring everything.
Took out stock amp and ran my signal and 9 wire cable from under the stock amp location in the carpet through the middle of the car under the carpet and up under the backseat.
Power wire was run on drivers side. (thus the reason for running signal and speaker through the middle to eliminate noise.
All excess wire is zip-tied and hidden neatly under rear set and as stated before the ground is on the drivers side on the far left
trunk is far from finished and stick have to cut out new wood piece
but updates will be posted
did not tuck wires into the seats through slits because i have something better planned in the works =)
also used stock tweeter pods and was able to fit the aftermarket tweeters in =)(RRM took their sweet time with my CF ones and i have a short patience)
heres the pictures for you pic ******:

and from the earlier front component install (rears soon)

tweeter pods!!:
top are rockford and bottoms are my JL

i also covered the rockford symbol with the JL symbol that was meant for the grille but i stuck it there instead
me burning there rockford sticker that comes above the navi =D:

lol you definitely dont need 0 gauge for a 500 watt amp and 320 watt amp.....i was running all 4 gauge when I had my 1600 watt L7s and no cap either.....where did you run the 0 gauge from the battery to in the car?
heres my current setup:

Memphis Street Edge 12s
Hifonics BXi-610 (running at 150 watts per sub)
Custom box built by me to Memphis specs for max SPL
8 gauge wiring lol
for 100 watt subs, they hit HARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD...i mean unimaginably hard, they shake EVERYTHING. and I got them for free, so not bad!
