alright, i'm finally getting to the point where my bumper rattle makes me want to vomit. yesterday my friend and i tried taking off my rear bumper to sound-deaden it. no luck. i took out both tail lights, took out the 2 bolts down there, and the 2 plastic bolt things. i took out the 2 bolts inside the car behind the carpet backing by the wheel wells. then, i took out all 6 bolts (3 on left side, 3 on right side) on the outside of the car behind the rear wheels. well, the sides of the bumper came out no problem, but we couldn't figure out how to get the middle section of the bumper undone or off, can anybody help me out here??? what are we forgetting? anything underneath? anything by the license plate? is it just a simple clip or are there more bolts we missed???

 

your bumper rattles? the only thing that vibrates is the rear plate and the trunk lid, not the bumper. u dynamated it?

yeha can tell you how. theres clips on th einside of the bumper. there like inside or something i just pulled the bumprer until it snap. it will make a loud pop after that it smooth as butter. those clips you really wont need them.just make sure once you remove to make sure you use automotive undercoating or dyno mat.
