Remote wire question- 2008 lancer

Remote wire question- 2008 lancer
I have a 2008 
lancer es with the sun and sound package. I did not want to give up my 6 disk HU so i did a hi-low adapater and ran a remote wire to my fuse box and attached it to the fuse that my stereo is on. I followed the diagram and tested to make sure i have the right fuse before i attached it. Any way my amp will not shutoff and i had to pull my kill switch so that i do not drain my battery in my car. If i was to relocate my remote wire how would i do that or did i do somthing wrong here
