Lights dimming!! Any fixes?
You don't really need the whole "hyper grounding kit"... just a couple of wires.
1. From the engine block to the frame.
2. From the battery - post to the frame.
That'll help more than you'll ever believe it could. Use 4 ga or larger for the best results, and don't remove any factory grounds. (can't have too much)

I was having the same problems, i have a 1200w amp and my lights were dimming a lot. I couldn't afford a cap at the time, so i took the optima yellow top battery from my old car and put it in the lancer, bye bye light dimming altogether.
dont NEED better alt by it self amps NEED more power than most alt can produce(100 ampsX14volts=1400watts,BUT amps are not 100% efective they run bout 40-50% for class a/b and 70-90 for class D)so a 700 watt(class a/b) amp needs bout 100 amps of power @14 volts to do that or class d need less, but its still alot
