remote start problem

I just installed a bulldog remote start in my 5spd lancer.

If your intention is to flame, don't bother posting.

The car starts without any problems with both key or remote.

With remote, once I get in the car, if I press the clutch in, it sounds like the starter kicks in and tries to restart over and over until I shut it off.

If I start it with the key, than press the remote start button (for pit-stop mode), it does the same thing.

Does anyone have an idea of why it does this, or how to fix it?

did you wire the tach wire to the fuel injection?
If you wired it to the coil it thinks the car is off.

I didn't wire the tach wire, because it said it was optional.

I'm guessing it's not in our case?

Also, what is the location/color of the tach wire, I'll give that a shot tomorrow when it's not so dark/cold

It should be in your manual what color the tach wire is. My remot start is an Audiovox so it could be different. and I had to make my own Ignition harness also so I didnt have to cut into the factory harness
