so my brother bought me an amp for my birthday and i have no knowledge in the music industry...i was just curious what you guys would recommend with this amp cause i have no idea what to purchase that will last and not blow...my brother was telling me to get audio pipe subs but not really sure...thanks for all the help

 

ive always used pioneer and never blew em or JL audio is good really depends on what money u wanna spend,what ohm u want and what ohm the amp will handle how u want to run em bridged paralleled or in sequence. theres alot to determine unless you just wanna hook something up and go or if you wanna do it the right way.

 

Give us details on the amp it would help recommend a good match.

well its 2 ohm stable....i would find some 2ohm subs or 4ohm and run em parallel. go to crutchfield.com you can get wiring diagrams there and see what is best.

JL Audio, Polk Audio, Kicker

Any of those 3 in my opinion are great. Obviously JL is best, but for price I like Polks.

 

yeah JL is good unless you dont set your gains right. then you can blow anything
