Make sure your RCAs are as far as possible from any electrical power source. If they already are, try wrapping your RCAs with foil.

I've had that problems for months and got rid of the whinning a few days ago. I kept my RCAs at the same place they were but wrapped them in foil and I've got no more noise.

You might want to give it a try

So you get noise when you hit the switch, and the noise goes away once the switch is no longuer moving no matter what position it's in?

Or do you get noise when you move the switch, and the noise stays till you put it back to Low?

Don't know if it's the foil or plain luck, but I've got the best sound I ever had in that car. No more whinning, no more pops. Only great bass, great highs and great overall sound

Then, take my first advices. You don't hear it on Low because the sound is too high and is filtered by the Low pass filter

When you're on Highs, then you hear the whinning because the High pass filter sees it as part of the music. So try moving your RCA, make sure it never touch the power cable (even 3 inchs from the amp) Sometime people will run their RCAs the correct way from front end to trunk, but as soon as they reach the trunk, they get messy and leave the RCA too close to to the power source.

So move your RCAs, and then wrap them in foil.

Hope that helps

that may stop the bzzzz noise, since if it's too high you might just be amplifying interference (and since it's a bazooka, this is probably likely)
as far as engine noise, you probably just don't notice it anymore.

solution A. get a better quality amp and properly ground ALL connections.
