In-dash DVD MP3 player

I am looking for an in-dash (DIN size) head unit that can play either MP3's off of a DVD-R or has its own internal storage (20GB or greater), kind of like an in-dash iPod.

Does such a thing exist?

I dont think so yet..why not get a head unit that has an AUX-In feature and hook an iPod up to it? Im running a Panasonic head unit with an Aux-In feature. Whenever i go on long trips, i just plug the aux cable into the laptop and i have a fully functional mobile media system with a DVD drive, 20gigs of mp3's, and a wireless card that can access the internet whenever we stop at starbucks for coffee.

Instead of AUX input, you can use a FM transmitter you can plug into your laptop, mp3 player, etc.

I just read that Alpine is coming out with a head unit that can control an iPod using its native protocol. This sounds more appealing than hooking up to an AUX input, may wait for that.

Thanks this is great info - going to see if any of these models have integrated amps. (my Evo is so loud, I can't see the value in putting in an outboard amp and speakers, but having the jukebox capability would be sweet).
