Old thread to the top

So do you need these for the front and rear?

In the first post he says rear. Other peeps are saying to clear the glass?

Your front and back speakers are the same size, well mine were. When I bought my set, i had to file down the inside of the ring so the speaker would fit through it. I don't know if I got a slightly off set or my components (RE comps) are just oversized though.

I had to sand mine down a bit as well. Any slightly oversized speaker cutout will require these brackets to be sanded down, but they do work nicely after completion.

Wasn't a direct fit on my 03 Evo in that I had to drill holes through it for proper screw positions - but they worked!

I had to adapt my adaptors aswell. My Polk db650's wouldnt line up for anything so I had to rig some washers and bolts to make it all work.
