what kind of audio setup do you have?
I have an Alpine CD Head Unit and an Alpine 6 CD-Changer going thru an 11 band Alpine EQ which sends the signal to three amps in the trunk, two Alpine's and one Kenwood mono amp for the 12" sub in my trunk.
The two alpine amps feed the front Alpine full range speakers and the rear Eclipse component speakers.
The power is handled by an Optima Sealed battery and a 4 gauge monster cable power wire going thru two 1fahrad caps that then connect to a gold plated distribution box, where the amps are connected to.
Sound is good, but it could be better if I had more $$$$

AMPS
arite, so with all of that stuff in your guys' cars, how hot do you amps get? i ask cause i'm new to the whole concept and my amps get pretty hot. i was wondering what's too hot and whatcan happen.
My Bass Amp warms up only when is really hot outside, and then it shutsdown to cool off automatically
it takes like 10 minutes to cool off
You can get amps with fans built-in to avoid that problem
