Remove the factory amp?

I have looked through the how tos and can't find a description of how to remove the factory amp and re run the wires for the speakers to a aftermarket amp.

Will I have to rerun wire from each speaker or what?

The factory amp should be under the driver's seat (which you'll need to remove to get to the amp). It looks like he just spliced into one wiring harness to make the connections for the power, ground, remote, and RCA-in -- and then into the other harness for the speaker output connections.

Kinda looks like a pain, but it's probably a lot easier than trying to run all new wiring.
