which is the better sub

I have been reading reviews of the Sony XS-L121P5. They look like a good bang for your buck. but i was also considering fosgate's. Which would you prefer?

Nice, just think of it "audio-bahn" cuz it deals with Audio and not Auto (car).

I like Audiobahn also. Fosgate are the hardest hitting speakers I ever heard.

Throw the Sony subs out of the picture. I worked in car audio for a couple of years and I always discouraged people from going with Sony, some of their higher end stuff is okay, but most of their car audio line is junk. Fosgate has awesome subs. They have a large range from starter subs to competition, so it depends what you are looking at. I run 4 of their HE's in my car. I also saw people talking about audiobahn, which are excellent subs but ussually expensive. You also want to look at what type of box you are putting them in. Audiobahns generally want sealed boxes, not ported. Let me know what you go with.

Audiobahns work good in a ported box as long as you build the box to there specs. The only problem with that is the box is rather large.
