Couple of years ago i purchase a sony amp and sub. And they were hitting pretty hard. but last week the sub exploded and i just found out that 3 months after i purchased them. and my warranty was only 1 year. so im screwed. now i have to find a sub that wont over work my sony crap amp. i was wonder if someone could help me find a sub.

I was talking with the sales rep from the place i bought my sony stuff and he said that i cant over work the amp i have now. He suggested 2 eclispe subs at 250-300 watts.
Any info would help a lot thanks

Ok i could get 2 Fosgate RFZ3412 at RMS 150W or Fosgate Punch HE2 RFP4112 at RMS 400w or maybe the Fosgate Punch HE2 RFP4112 at RMS 500w. I have the xplod 760w with
150 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
190 watts x 2 at 2 ohms
380 watts x 1 in bridged mode
Which would be the best option without blowing my subs or amp
I would appricate it Thanks
