hey everybody! i am a big ole box in my trunk all decked out with the new bazooka subs.. and a 800W p.miller amp. check my ride profile for pics... but.. the 2 subs are rattling my body kit.. and i know that **** is slowing me down.. its pretty heavy.. i was thinkin maybe i could get some hi-quality soundin speakers and get the bass sound too.. im more into sound quality then thumpin down the street... any suggestions.. anyone wanna buy my stuff... haha its all new.

oh and if i get rid of the subs and get the speakers.. do i still need the amp.. or can i take that out too?

 

Depends on if you put another sub in or if you want your mids and highs amped.

 

if you get rid of what you have now, i highly recommend getting an amp for the speakers. it makes a world of difference.

 

I'm in a similar situation. I have a big heavy box with two 10s in my trunk and I know its overkill. I am looking at buying a JL 10W0, or 10W3v2 and biulding a custom enclosure in the trunk. I've even considered learning to work with fiberglass, since thats a lot lighter than particle board.
