bazooka or phoenix gold

Im trying to decide between these two amps so i figured i'd ask you guys.

Phoenix Gold XS-2300 - 2 x 150 watts rms, 2 ohm stable bridged. ($44.00)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=4950

or

Bazooka 500-Watt Mono Amplifier ($150.00)

http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.js...0&catoid=-8865

Im kinda leaning towards the bazooka cause its got more power, its a mono channel and im only plannin on powerin two subs, also its new with a warranty.

However I know phoenix gold is really good and my best friend has that exact phoenix gold amp and that thing really pounds. plus it's cheaper so i want your guy's opinion

I know that phoenix is a better brand but considering the fact that it's like 150 rms for the phoenix compared to the 500 rms on the bazooka you still think the phoenix gold is better

The PG all the way. PG gives real world RMS ratings, but really can pound when it is hooked upto 14.4 volt, I have PG Ti amps that are rated at 75X2 and I am getting 1000X1 bridged to 2 ohms, They rock and have very solid well made circuits and hold up for a very long time. (all 3 of my tI amps are 5 years old and goin strong) I sell that unit that you are looking at, Let me know what price you are getting it for right now in a PM, Ill send you a quote back!

As mentioned PG is by far a better brand that is a huge power difference though... something to consider

I picked up a PG zx500 eight years ago. It's currently in the back of my g/f's car still pushing 3 jl 10w6's. Sounds as good as the day I bought it.
