ok, I want to install my amp and sub from my eclipse i traded in into my evo. Where have other evo owners mounted their amps? On the back of the seat is just foam so thats a no go. I was thinking under one of the seats, but wonder if its a good idea to just put screws in under there??? I dont know how thick the floor is. Another idea would be to mount it in the trunk on the driverside. There is a little space right behind the taillight where it would fit perfectly. How would I mount it there?? Thanks

 

I mounted a board behind the rear seats in the trunk and mounted the amp on it.

 

Do you have any pics of it? What type of board did you use and what thickness? Also how does the board stay in place?

I mounted the brain to my navi umit under the driver seat but didnt want to put any holes in the car so I used 1/2 inchs screws that just went into the carpet.

 

mounted both my amps vertially on the sides of the front part of the trunk then have my subs inbetween the wheel wells works great and looks great
